European AIR Tour Stop 3 – Warsaw

On Friday we held the third stop of the European tour in Warsaw, Poland. The event was held at the Olympic Center, which was very nice and modern. I’m not sure what it was actually used for in the Olympics though. We again had a great turnout and most seats were filled throughout the entire day.

The folks from Flash & Flex Magazine were there and showed us a sneak peak at the new magazine, which will be hitting the shelves in the US very soon. We finally have a magazine devoted to Flash! They interviewed Mike and proclaimed that he was the creator of Flash and Flex. How do you find the time Mike?

The “Evangelism Corner” was really nice and we had a bunch of people asking us questions and showing us the applications that they are building. I owned Ryan by knocking him off the top spot on the Guitar Hero competition twice. Sorry Ryan. Maybe things will look up for you in Prague.

My session went over really well since the Polish people have a great sense of humor. My new MyBossIsComing application went over great with the crowd. I’ll post it once I’m back stateside. Thanks to Warsaw for being a great crowd and for being so enthusiastic about AIR.

    Can’t wait for that magazine, there are a shortage of good web design mags in the U.S.. Seems like the U.K. gets all the good ones.

    you gave us great em… lecture and show. slides from it are very useful. hope you’ll post sample apps.
    the whole thing was really inspiring besides the “oh no, it cant be THAT easy!” felling.

    on the sidenote: knew you from the gotoandlearn tuts but thought you were younger. not that you are dinosaur..

    don’t know if this is right place to ask but: do version of flash player has any influence on AIR apps performance?
